We parked in the small carpark at the beginning of the Pagoda Track, located a few kilometres before the Glow Worm Tunnel carpark. And headed down the Pagoda Track.
It's a short walk to the beginning of the canyon. After winding your way through Rocky outcrops (also known as pagodas) for approximately 1 km the track will narrow and you'll begin walking down into the canyon.
Dry Creek Canyon Is Stunning
Now for some spectacular sights as you snake your way through tight slot canyon sections barely wider than 1 m.
Depending on the time of day rays of light will shine through cracks illuminating different sections of the slot canyon.
We were lucky enough to have rainfall the day before and small waterfalls cascaded to the canyon floor.
Eventually, you will reach the end of the canyon which is a good place to rest and reflect on the beauty you just walked through.
The only way back to your car is through the canyon. Walking back though is just as nice and provides you with a new perspective of the canyon.
