Looking for fun things to do in Yosemite?

Obviously Yosemite is on the list for anyone road tripping across California, but with only a quick stop we didn’t have much time to work with. We knew that we wanted to see the sunset from Sentinel Dome so that only left us with half an afternoon to explore. Our best option was to go for a quick hike along the Mist Trail to the top of Vernal Falls. Wow, this place is spectacular even if it was a little crowded.

The Mist Trail is one of the most popular short hikes in the Yosemite National Park, and with good reason. Along the way, we were greeted by cute little squirrels (exciting stuff for two Aussies), got drenched as water rained down on us from above and admired spectacular views of the valley below. We crossed bridges with raging rivers roaring just meters below and climbed stair cases cut out of the side of cliff faces.

All footage was taken with my GoPro Hero 5.
Camera gear included the GoPro 3 Way camera handle and the Feiyu Tech g5 gimbal.
