Empress Falls is a stunning waterfall deep in a rainforest

A fun hike down into the rainforests of the Blue Mountains to explore the beautiful cascading water of Empress Falls and Lodore Falls.

It was a short hike down from our lodge, taking about an hour to reach the falls and a little bit longer to hike back out. Empress Falls are beautiful and well worth the trip if you are in the area. The cold water of the plunge pool can be a refreshing escape from the summer heat for those looking to swim.
